Business Club at Highline is not just open to Business students, but to anyone who would like to get a head start on building a business-oriented resume. You might find that in your college experience at Highline you want a diverse number of options available for you after graduating. With Business Club, you can get a chance to learn valuable skills and gain exposure to real world business applications and connections that can help you succeed after Highline.

The 2016-2017 Advertising Club attended the professional online advertising conference, Search Fest, in Portland, OR.

The Highline College Business Club fosters connections between students on campus, influential business people across the greater South King County community, and talented individuals laboring in the community through alumni gatherings, field trips to businesses and university programs, and networking events.

Each Business Club meeting includes food, discussion and hands-on learning about business.  The opportunity to network with other students and business leaders is accomplished during each meeting.

Business Club also hosts speakers and panels that are open to the public, offers career resources to all Highline students, and hosts monthly meetings.

In joining the Business Club, you can...

  • Improve your resume and business acumen by working in groups to consult local small businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups with business strategy.

  • Participate in the University of Washington Case Competition (RIICC), occurring this year on November 17, 2018, where the grand prize college team each year wins $1,000.

  • Expose yourself to entrepreneurship and innovation through quarterly visits to businesses in Seattle, its surrounding cities and Portland, OR.

  • Learn about different business university programs through on-site visits and tours. University of Washington and Seattle University have been popular destinations in the past.

  • Compete internally in a mock business through our business simulation software game.

  • Bring business-related speakers of your interest to campus.

The 2016-2017 Environmental/Sustainability Club part in the Seattle city Climate Change March.
